How to Make Account Assignment Mandatory

Hi All,

I have a requirment to make the field Account Assignment Group in MM01 (Sales org 2 Tab) as a mandatory field, but while trying to make it mandatoryin OMS9 and OMSR all the fields are get mandatory.

So please help how to make only the field MVKE-KTGRM as mandatory

Hi Usman,

Alternate Solution :

In OMS9 u can find some filed selection groups which does not contain values. ( Eg : 140 )

So at first identify one such field selection grp.( Eg : 140 )

Now goto OMSR and assign the above identified field slection grp (140 ) to the field MVKE-KTGRM .

Once again goto the Tcode OMS9 and enter the above field selection grp (140 ) and make it mandatory .

Dear,

Note down the field name of material statistics group and account assignment group.

1) account assignment group u2013 MVKE- KTGRM.

Go to the T code : OMSR .

If you want to make mandatory only for these fields, then in OMSR , change the Field selection group number for these fields ( Std : 90 is there , give 210 for fields ).

Then go to OMS9 , give 210 in field selection group 210, then you will get only these fields . and make the mandatory fields with respect to field reference ( that with respective material type field reference assigned.)

Choose the field selection group 90 in OMS9 and then double click on MVKE-KTGRM.

Now choose the required entry button.

It will work.
