Mandatory fields for Fields in Profitability Segment

Hi all,

In tcode FB70, we click on profit segment. In profit segment (assignment to a Profitability Segment), there are various fields e.g. customer, sales org. How can we make these customer, sales org fields mandatory so that users would not forget to enter a value?

SAP has provided some enhancement objectives to meet this kind of requirements. You can check the enhacement objectives with T/Code CMOD

I believe the enhancement COPA0001 or COPA0003 will serve your purpose

Hi ,

This is a fact, that in enjoy transaction the PA segment is determined automaticaly where setting of characteristic group is not considered. Take into account that mandatory characteristics are considered only when popup of assignment PA segment is arised.

There is however a modification available for this issue. If you want this functionality then you can raise a message with SAP and we can provide you a modification. Please note that this is a front end behaviour of the enjoy transactions which is controlled by FI module. After discussion with FI we have concluded that the same logic can not be kept for both enjoy transaction and FB01.
