tsf* files in mdss home directory

Hello,

Running MDM 5.5 SP04 HF09 on Solaris. In the mdss home directory, there are many (more than 17 thousand) files with names starting with "tsf". They may all be empty. How do I stop them from being generated?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

tsf stands for "Temporary Syndication File". Whenever MDSS syndicates records, before writing the files to port, temporary files are created. After writing permanent files to outbound port, these temporary files are deleted by MDSS. So in short, there is some problem with your MDSS because it is not able to delete the temporary files.

Hope this is helpful.

Best Regards,

Dheeraj.

I am facing a similar issue except that tsf* files are really huge - anyone has any ideas on this?
