Hi,
I'm planning an upgrade from CRM 6.0 SP4 to CRM 7.0 SP5
But I can't see anywhere what the difference is between CRM 7.0 and 7.0 SR1.
I have read the UMG document for both 7.0 SR1 and 7.0, but that didn't bring me any closer.
So does anyone know the difference between these two versions?
Regards
Michael
Generally the SR1 suffix indicates Service Release One. On initial installation, this will have a higher support pack stack than an inital installation of the version without SR1.

Reading a bit more about this from the installations and upgrade pages on the sap support website, the CRM 7.0 SR1 is for upgrading the CRM application without changing the SAP Netweaver basis level. This allows SAP Netweaver level to be retained at 7.0.
Should you look to upgrade to the non SR1 version, then the Sap Netweaver version must be taken to 7.01.
So it would seem CRM 7.0 SR1 holds additional enhancements which supplement using Netweaver at a lower level of 7.0.
