XI technical specification documents

Hi all,

Our company is going to start a new project on XI which involves integration of Java based third party system with SAP R/3 system.We are very new to XI implementation and need some help on preparation of technical specifications.Can anybody who help me in this regard and provide some documents on how to prepare tech spec based on functional spec for XI implementation project will be greatly appreciated...

sample scenarios and o lot of other things for a start
