At the time of creation Of MIC there is seating for" Long-Term Inspection"what is the difference between long term and short term
inspection?
does it will make any big effect on UD/RR/lot assignment?
kindly help
MK
By default every characteristic is short term characteristics, when insp. lot is created result can be recorded. BUT after UD result recording is not possible.
if u activate long term characteristics then, result recording is possible after UD also.
In some case when user wants to record result after ud has been made then it is activated. u can record defects for this characteristics at characteristics level also after ud.

Hi Mk,
Long Term Inspection Setting setting effects during Results Recording.
In standard you cannot alter MIC results after Usage decision has been done. But if you activate a MIC with Long term Inspection system allows you to record or change inspection results even after usage decision
I hope this input helps you...
