Quality Inspection for Non-Stock Materials

Hi All,

We have created medicine items as Non-Stock Materials.While doing quality inspection, system does not consider defective items in QA32 mean there is no Inspection Lot stock screen appear to enter quantity for return delivery(Poor quality, shortage).

Please suggest how to enter defective quantity for Non-Stock materials in Qa32.

Hi Sant-MM ,

You can create inspection lot for non stock material.

But you cant see the stock in quality or unrestricted stock type.

This is only for recording of users decision.

If you want to send the material back you can reject the material and send it back through return to vendor

with mov type 122.

Hi Gitesh,

Currently we are handling through return delivery only. But user wants to follow the same process just like materials having material type as ROH.

Hi

In some company s they use GR Blocked stock scenario to handle this non stock item inspection.

Material will be received into GR blocked stock and then released after the inspection.

Please provide the details step by step.

For Ex - User want to receive material of 100 quantity out of which 20 is rejected during quality inspection. How to handle this scenario in SAP.
