Entries required for the functional modules for customers replication

Former Member

Hello All

I am working on CRM 7.0, we are integrating the CRM with the R/3. Regarding the customers replication I found that settings should be maintained in these two functional modules

1-COM_BUPA_CALL_FU in ERP

2-CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU in CRM

I need the entries for these two functional modules

Thanks

Jacopo

Hello,

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't you talking about tables (not function modules)?

Usually you need to adapt those tables for industry specific scenario (for example when you want to replicate business partners between CRM and IS-U, or CRM and SLCM, etc.).

If your requirement is to replicate business partners between CRM and ECC, then I would recommend to follow instructions of Best Practice documents that you'll find here:

http://help.sap.com/bp_crm70/CRM_DE/HTML/index.htm

Everything you need to know:

http://help.sap.com/bp_crm70/BBLibrary/HTML/B01_EN_DE.htm

http://help.sap.com/bp_crm70/BBLibrary/HTML/C71_EN_DE.htm

http://help.sap.com/bp_crm70/BBLibrary/HTML/B09_EN_DE.htm

http://help.sap.com/bp_crm70/BBLibrary/HTML/C03_EN_DE.htm

And following OSS note should be read carefully:

Note 757955 - Incompatible change concerning CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU

Kind regards,

Nicolas Busson.

Hi Nicolas

Yes they are tables, we donu2019t have industry specific scenarios we are running the standard in the Customer master

Does that means that I donu2019t need to maintain any entries in those tables?

No you don't (check the best practice document I sent you in my previous message).

The only reason to change entries in those tables would be to implement OSS note 757955 (which is probably already implemented in your system), or to include any customer-specific logic during replication... because those tables serve as middleware "user-exit".

Hi Nicolas, if we are dealing with SLCM, what kind of enhancement should be consider?

Best regards.

Hi,

If there are custom roles defined in CRM the standard BTE which maps ECC account groups to CRM Business Partner Roles has been enhanced using a custom User exit in ECC.

Kindly check note # 914437 for more on custom Mapping ECC Account Groups to Custom CRM Roles.

Also make sure the settings in PIDE is correctly mapped from Account grp to BP roles. Then run your initial load.

Hope this helps.
