How to prevent CJB1 to not overwrite the existing Settlement rule in a WBS

Hello!

I use CJB1 for settlement rule generation and it works fine but for a project type I need to change the settlement rule

and do a exception and settle to a differrent receiver.

But the next time I run CJB1 it overwrite my manually entered settlement rule to the one in the settlement strategy.

Logically, I think it should not overwrite if there is a existing settlement rule.

If you have any experiences about this please do not hesitate to contact me.

use BADI

talk to your abaper

go to transaction SE18 and enter the BADI in display mode

click on button called "documentation"
