Hi
I have activated version management for Purchasing Documents (PO)
Release strategy is also working fine first time.
But, when there is any change in the PO, Release strategy is happening.
I have selected release indicator as 6, & 1%.
I deactivated the version management and tried to change PO.
Relese strategy is working effectively.
Can somebody give some idea why release strategy is not triggering when version management is active.
Thank you,
Dear Atchyuth Komati,
You need to complete the version and output a message to vendor. Then any changes to the total
net value that more than 1% will reset the release strategy again. If the output not sent to vendor,
then no new version is created and it will consider as the same version, thus the release strategy not
need to reset until the version is completed and message sent to vendor.

Hi Ian Wong
In my case, we have service orders which are already released completely, and version management is also active having status "completed".
Now user is setting, a completed version to "In Process" and changing the value to a higher limit and resetting the version back to "Completed" but system is not resetting the resetting the release strategy. Whereas in case of Material PO, any change in already released material PO, either in value, message or version is retriggering the release strategy.
Any Idea, why service order release is not retriggering, as user is misusing version management to change the values of already release service order.
Hi Atchyuth,
When version managment is active, release strategy will not trigger automatically. You need Select the Current Version and Click on Complete Version Button in the Version Tab and Click on Check Button in the PO also. YOur Release Strategy will be triggered.

Vraj
