E-mail Job works fine but does nothing ;-) HELP on E-mail Campaigns

Hi Experts...

I have a terrible problem where I'm realy stuck now.

Time for some real EXPERTS... -> YOU

I execute an E-mail campaign and everything looks fine. BUT no E-mail is visible in SOST and no Activity is created (if I choose E-mail + Activity)

The Job log reports:

2009-12-01 23:45:08 Business Partners to E-mail: 4 AD 010 S

2009-12-01 23:45:08 Total Number of Business Partners Not Contacted fo 4 AD 010

What am I doing wrong? How can I debugg the Job or get any tip what is missing? I followed "Best Practices C22 Lean Campaign ..."

Did I miss some Job activation things???

Test E-mail in the Mailform is working so mail settings seem to be ok.

Hi Chris - The config is pretty straight forward, and I would check the following:

1. Accounts/contacts in the target group on campaign...Are they up for Email contact??? Check for the do not contact status..

2. Communication medium - Email...I am sure you would have selected it..

3. Mail Form??

Hi,

Debugging can be done as follows:

1. Put a breakpoint at the beginning report CRM_MKTTGGRP_EXPORT_BATCH

2. Select your previously executed job in transaction SM37

3. Type 'jdbg' into the tcode field in the upper left area

To analyze the results and messages of the campaign execution, you can also have a look into the application log, either in the campaign application or in transation SLG1. There you should find details why the BPs have not been contacted.
