Error in Housing record creation

Hi experts:

I have the following issue:

I have two wage types for HRA-1HRA(50%of basic) and1H60(60%of basic).I have maintained IT8 for an employee with 1HRA.Now i create IT581 with rented accomodation, rent amt.It8 is automatically updated with 1H60 which is wrong.Even if i delete it form IT8,IT581 has the wagetype 1H60 in overview mode and tax exemption is not happening in payroll.

Hve u copied the HRA M230 Wage type properly and Define valuation of base wage types for HRA

define the allowancing grouping also

Hi vikram:

I have copied the standard wagetype properly and it is functioning well only that it is creating problem when iT581 is created.the other hra wage type is defaulted where in there is already one hra wagetype.

Valuation of base wagetype has been done properly.

Please chk wht u hvedefine in Revise Pay Scale Groups and Levels for tht level and Revise Default Wage Types

in Reimbursements, Allowances and Perks also

there will the mismatch of wage type is hppn or wht

Please hve a look on this

HI,

Please check the table v_T7INT9, and check the WT defined againist the tax code SHRA. This should slove your problem.

By the way are you the same one working with TCS?

I have checked the nodes in RAP the hRA wagetypes are tagged properly.

I have checked the tax table.Both the HRA wagetypes 1HRA and 1H60 are tagged to SHRA.

But for this employee there should be 1HRA which is already there then why is 1H60 getting defaulted while created IT581?

Hi Kamini,

HRA functionality works like this, After creating the IT 581 system dynamically takes you to IT 0008 and asks you to update the HRA WT that are linked in tax table.

As you have linked 2 WT's ( 1HRA, 1H60 respectively) to taxcode SHRA, system is taking you to IT 0008 and asking you to create both the WT's. Link only 1HRA it will work fine.

Hi Raghu:

For different allowance groupings different HRA wagetypes are used and hence both have to be taaged to SHRA code.

But anyways the issue is solved as there was an error in table V_T7INA9 entry.
