SAPBEX with Office 2007 launch errors.

When launching Bex Analyzer, I get following error: "Repairs to sapbex.xla"

Excel was able to open the file by repairing or removing the unreadable content.

This workbook has lost its VBA project, ActiveX controls and any other programmability-related features.

With older Office versions, we had to relax Macro security settings, this sounds similar.. any idea on how to resolve?

I discovered there was a group policy disabling VBA for Office applications enabled.

Once I changed that to allow VBA, all was well.

Check your BEx latest Patch level and the SaP GUI patch level.

Try installing patches on your desktop to overcome this issue. The latest patches are available on the service market place under downloads -> Support packages and patches -> BI 7.0 Addon for SAP GUI.
