Hi

Does anybody know about SAP-VERTEX or VISTEX???

How it is integrated with SAP? if i am not wrong its third Party S/W?.

What is its use? & any SPRO settings required for using this S/W???

Vertex is Third Party software.

There are two ways to connect to Vertex:

1) What we have used in recent implementation: Using PI

2) Establishing RFC connection between Vertex and SAP.

Vertex's scalable tax technology can help ease the direct and indirect tax compliance for large organizations. You have tax relevant information in Customer Master Data, Vendor Master Data: this information is used while processing Sales Orders or Purchase Orders. By using Vertex we can simplify the tax calculations and also it takes care of Tax Jurisdiction codes.

SPRO settings required: RFC connection establishment by creating Logical system

SD pertaining settings for Customer Master Tax Settings

Hi Rohit

Thats Pretty much you describe in your reply, but can you please elaborate a little bit further

for consultant new to vertex, like complete configuration steps using PI or RFC connection

so we can also configure in this way as you did when you work on that. and How it takes care

US jurisdiction and how we assign tax procedure etc to this software.

We have Vertex- you can call their support line 800-281-1900 and ask for sales. We have the 'O' series, but they also have 'Q' series- both work with SAP.

You also mentioned Vistex- this is rebate software. Seems from the other responses, you are looking for tax and not rebate solutions.

You mean to say instead of SAP-FI/CO, companies are using SAP Vertex?

Can i get all the SPRO settings required to use SAP-VERTEX?(for all modules SD-PP-MM)

From where to download Vertex trial version?
