Internal Orders in BW

Hi,

I am planning to bring internal orders data into BW. I will be using the cube - 0OPA_C11. Will I need to use all the following Datasources?

0CO_OM_OPA_1: Internal Orders: Costs and Allocations

0CO_OM_OPA_2: Internal Orders: Budget

0CO_OM_OPA_3: Internal Orders: Overall/Annual Plan Values

0CO_OM_OPA_5: Internal Orders: Accruals

0CO_OM_OPA_6: Internal Orders: Actual Costs using Delta Extraction

Or is it sufficient to use just 0CO_OM_OPA_6: for actuals and 0CO_OM_OPA_1 for all the other filtered by Value Type - Budget, Plan, Target etc.

It largely depends on what sort of data you have in your source system. If you only use actuals, then 0CO_OM_OPA_6 should be sufficient for your requirements. If you plan against Internal Orders as well, you will need to use 0CO_OM_OPA_1 as well. You should consider including 0CO_OM_OPA_7 if you do purchasing against Internal Orders, as well.

Note that 0CO_OM_OPA_1 does not support delta extraction, which can be a bit of a pain sometimes. Experiment with it to see what configuration suits your endusers' requirements the best.

Hi Anand,

0CO_OM_OPA_6 is enough to get internal orders for actuals. Please be attention if you are using ODS instead cube.
