MI09 Error

While entering material in MI09 with 3 qty out of 5 I am facing below error with which i cannot goahead

error "exactly 3 S.NO`s must be selected, instead of 5" I have also selected 3 S.NO`s but still i get the same error.How can i over come it?

Reason and Prerequisites

Only a partial quantity of the serial numbers in question is supposed to be posted to the first stock category.

Solution

In the available scenario all suitable serial numbers are already assigned to the material line items that are to be processed in sequence so that you might have to deselect the serial numbers that are not to be posted. This occurs by selecting of the respective serial number(s) and pressing the Delete button.
