Hi,
I found where to check for the log. I got the log saved on the b2b/admin.
It has generated a lot of files. which one should I actually check, also the files are very big in size - is there any specific location that I have to find the details.
There is a file for application trace and about 20 files for default trace.

Kindly follow these steps:
- Goto the admin link: https:
<host name>:<port no>
b2b\admin.jsp
- Click on second last entry 'Logging' in the left hand panel.
- Enter the application link and click on 'Start Application'
- Login to shop and go to the point where the error is occurring.
- Click on 'Start Logging' in the admin page.
- Continue to create order till run time error occurs.
- Come back to admin page: there would be link in the logging window.
- Open it and you will get the log file in zipped format.
- Search that file with keyword error and post it here.
Also please check Transaction ST22 in CRM for any dumps created.

This error is inconclusive at least for me, but we can do some troubleshooting:
- Check Trex server settings and whether it is configured correctly (Contact Basis team for the same)
- Check Product catalog is configured correctly and properly replicated to Trex server.

This error can be due to various reasons:
- Product catalog has not been configured properly.
- Catalog has not been defined properly in Shop Admin.
- Sold to party is not assigned to the catalog view (in case of catalog search enabled).
- Product catalog not replicated to TREX.
- Trex server is down or not functioning properly.
And many more.

From your error.
I suggest you to check value of your TREX server in Visual Admin where you are running your this application.
Go to Visual Admin. --> Instance IDXXXXX --> Server IDXXXX --> Services --> trex.services -->nameserver.address
Check value of parameter nameserver.address
Your error says that it has invalid entry.
It should contain trex server entry where you are replicating your catalog tcpip://<hostname>:<port>

"default trace" will tell you about the error. SAP WEB AS use "default trace" to log errors as default log file.

IT seems that somehow you are not able to communicate with your IPC server.
Please check your IPC service whether it is up and running properly.
Please restart your IPC from VMC.
Your basis guy can do it. Tell him/her to restart IPC service and then try.
One thing is sure that your ISA and IPC not able to communicate properly may be due to IPC service is not running properly or it is down.
I hope once you restart your IPC your problem will be resolved.

I have checked the IPC part.. it looks ok. However, just to make sure I have totally removed the IPC functionality from the scenario to check whats causing the runtime order creation error.

where should I maintain the parameters missing here, so that the RFC does not fail

Hi Sadhu,
Have you checked your IPC setting in your shop admin application? Please do not use IPC at all just use List price.
How you have removed your IPC scenario?
In Your standard application /b2b/b2b/init.do are you getting the same order error?
Most probably it is IPC related error.

however the note basically asks to implement some patch. Our has been updated withe the needed patch level alredy.
I guess the issue is around the cs.http.port missing entries. It took me to wfdcs - workflow deployment calculation service. we have maintained the requried parameters there also.
Still we are having the runtime error while creating order.
