How to import .sda file in NWDS

I'm trying to import XRPM .sda file in NWDS to find out the model structure but not able to import it in NWDS

Please let me know how can i import a .sda file in NWDS

Hi Puneet,

check below blog to convert .sda files to .sca files and you can import .sca files into NWDS . (take backup of your original sda file)

This document only tells how to create .sca from .sda file.

But it didnt explain me how to import .sca/.sda in NWDS

Hi Puneet,

It is normal procedure.Right click the DC and import SC button ,you can select your sca file .

Thanks a lot for the information.

I'm able to import .sca file in NWDS.

Now i want to create local WD project from one of the sda file.

But it is not allowing me to create a project.

I want to import the WD project which is in one of the sda file of a SCA.

Any idea on this.

Hi ,

After importing SCA file into NWDS , are you able to see specific webdynpro component from which you want to create project?

Right click and choose sync/create new project . If you get any erros,post the detailed logs.
