Print Preview mail and fax error in Purchase order (ME23N)

Hi,

We try to 'Print Preview' a purchase order in transaction ME23N and it

gives us the following error:

' Call of USERNAME with XXXXXXXXX FAX Error occurred in R/3 in SAP

Connect'--> Message number XS008

And when including the email info it gives us this other error:

'Version USERNAME incompatible with version used'--> Message number

XS011

We have tested to send an email and it goes OK. The same with the fax.

Could you please help us with this error?

    I am having the same issue , can you please tell how your issue was resolved. Print preview is working fine for Print but not for EMail (external send ) and Fax . I maintained the email address in vendor master.

Hi,

I also faced the same issue in QA system. Solution was simply to enable FAX (and Internet in SMTP in this case). As this was QA so we don't want to send any test FAX to the vendor so we didn't registered the program ID hence the RFC was not working but fax was enabled.

Testers was happy to test the print preview.
