Is it safe to add value in table: RSADMIN ?

Hi All,

Could you kindly help me please ?

We're now in SPS 18.

I'm keen to deactivate attribute display in input help, and I found SAP Notes 1144979.

I tried and it works.

It configures by adding object: IGNORE_RSD1_MA_ATTR in RSADMIN table.

My Question is whether this configuration has other effect or not ? Perhaps in the peformance, or in other behaviour or reporting.

Hi Daniel, if there is nothing published on OSS regarding side effects of mentioned parameter of RSADMIN I would not bother about it. So far I;m able to find only following note:

  Btw, do you know is there another setting that I can do ?
  
  Because if I use RSADMIN way means it affects globally (all info object/variable object).
  Is there another way, to do locally only to corresponding info object.
  
  e.g. I set only in query designer, so that I can set that this variable doesn't have to display all attribute .

    Hi Daniel,
    Unfortunately I never played with settings like this... If you want tot avoid global impact of this parameter try to make some experiments in WAD.
