bps - layout

Hi everybody,

I have to adjust one of my layouts. In this layout I have characteristic: Strategic Business Unit. This InfoObject has 3 different types of texts: short, medium and long. At the moment in the web application medium text is shown in the dropdown box. I have to change it -> long text has to be shown. Have can I do it?

hi,

You can also create transports by executing the program UPC_TRANSPORT_BPS_ALL in SE38.

The advantage of using this method is that you have options to select only the required area/level/layout/fn. as needed.

Hi.

Goto BPS0->your planning area->your planning level-your package->your manual planning.

Right click on "your manual palnning"->change layout and in "settings for characteristics" select "char. text" = long.

Yes.

You should do the change in DEV and create transport in BPS0 trans code.

Hi.

Transport: goto BPS0. In upper menu select "Tools->Transport".

In "Planning Area" type or select your area and press F8.

This will create new transport.
