Dera friends,

pls what can i do to stop users from manually changing delivery qty in VL01N. The system allows users to increase qty in delivry more than the qty in the sales order and this is bringing inconsistency in report.

thanks Agatha

Hi Eki,

I agree with the above solutions but if you want to stop the over delivery for a particular customer then go to customer master in XD02 --> Go to sales area data --> Shipping Tab page --> put the digit in

Underdel. Tolerance

Overdeliv. Tolerance

And the warning message comes during the delivery, change it to error in OVAH.

Hope it helps,

Thanks friends for the reply it really helped. Although we later decided to add some 5% tolerance level which i have set in the customer master data of each customer.

Pls hencefort i want to make this field "DELIVERY TOLERANCE" under shipping tab in sales area data compulsory that whenever a new customer is about to be created it must require this field. hpw do i do this in customizing.

Thanks

Try to create a transaction variant for XD01 transaction , make this field mandatory and activate it.

T Code to create transaction variant: SHD0

OR

In transaction OB20, under the sales area data, mark the field partial delivery / tolerances as "Required".

Hope this helps

Hi

STeps

1 SHD0

choose XD01 in tcode and lets say ZXD01-1 in Tran.Var

2 choose create button

3 Keep pressing enter till you get shipping Tab with Toelarnce field

4 once you get this screen press enter

5 you will get a screen now with all fields under shipping tab

6 choose lower and upper tol. as Required (teick mark the last column for both)

press enter .give some name before saving for screen variant to easily remember

7 now directly sav

8 in the first screen you started after SHD0

9 in GOto menu you have an option to create a new tcode also

Hope this fulfills

Hi,

to make the tolerance field compulsory while creating the customer, go to OBD2, select the customer account group and under sales area shipp8ing tab make the field 'Partial delivery / tolerance' as required entry.

HI

KIndly go to the belwo path

SPRO-IMG-Logistics execution-ShippingDeliveriesdefine Delivery item categoryselect your item category and mainintain "B" in the check over delivery

Control for checking for overdelivery

Specifies how the system reacts when, during delivery processing, you

exceed the original order quantity.

Use

For each delivery item category, you can specify whether the system

checks for overdelivery and, if so, whether you receive a warning or

error during delivery processing. If you have specified an overdelivery

limit in the sales order or in the customer-material info record, you

can use this indicator to control how the system reacts.

In the delivery item category definition ( T Code 0VLP), for the field Check Over Delivery , Mark it as B.

Hope this helps
