Very Urgent Load Failed from ODS to Cube Using Data Marting

Hi All,

Loading from ODS Cube is failed. strictly speaking it's not failed.it's not picking the delta load from ODS to Cube. i tried to reset the Data martsetting in ODS and i tried delta still delta records showing 0 records.

please guide me. I don't have any option for Repeat delta while loading the data from ODS to Cube.

Hi Nagesh,

Deltas should be handled very carefully. May be your deltas got corrupted. You can proceed with two options:

You can do an inti with out data transfer by creating a new delta bridge and can continue with your loads.

Or check if you have data in PSA? If so then try deleting the old request in ODS as well and try loading the ODS and then cube.

Hi Nagesh,

After you reset the datamart status in ODS manage, and loaded the delta to the cube, did the datamart status appear against that request? Do you have any start routine that may be acting here?

thanks for prompt reply.

1. No Start routine b/n ODS and Infocube.(it's one to one mapping)

2. in the ODS, added records showing 0 records actual new records 1025.

3. i taken the document number and i checked the document number in Activae tables i don't see the data for corresponding document number?

4. Data Mart status has come after reload the data.

Hi Nagesh,

Bit confused here: "in the ODS, added records showing 0 records actual new records 1025."...So you mean that this data did not load into the ODS...Did you check the monitor?

i forgot to tell you one thing. because of this one

1. i tried to load data from PSA to ODS again job failed. i checked job log. caller 56 caller 57 some thing.

please guide me.

i ahve data in PSA for ODS.

Ok, so we need to deal with the load to the ODS...can you see the details tab on the monitor to get an idea where the load failed: transfer rules, update rules?

Problem is we have changed the status of the monitor from Red to green. because in the manage tab it is showing green(Infosource to ODS) . in the monitor it is showing request is still running.

Hi Nagesh,

As you are saying that your colleague has changed the status of the monitor from Red to green makes absolute sense to me why the cube is not recognizing the delta. It is still considering the previous load as active delta and not recognizing the load even though you deleted the request. Please follow the second option if you have data in PSA.
