TNS Name: it is the name configured in TNS name, is it? but.... In wich system? all configuration needs to be done in Solution Manager? it is necesary to add all satellite systems in tnsnames.ora???

Character Set: I don't understand what it is

National Character Set: I don't understand what it is

If you know about this please help me

Thank you very much!!!!

P.D.: I don't know wich user do i need to use in DB Connections, i used my sap user, orasid...

Hi,

You need to do all configuration in Solution Manager.

TNS Name: it is the name configured in TNS name, is it?

Yes, TNS name is the listner name of target system which is also configured in your solman's tnsnames.ora

"/sapmnt/<SID>/profile/oracle/tnsnames.ora". it is usually <SID> of your target system.

Character set : Not mandatory..

User: sapr3 or system /password

Hi,

I tried but it didn't work, it showed the following error:

DBB_SLD Database connection %_DBB_SAPL902: SQL error 12154 ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified

Do you know what is it?

Hi,

Please see if both tnsnames.ora files are identical and make sure that there is no space before SID.

/sapmnt/<SID>/profile/oracle/tnsnames.ora

/oracle/<SID>102_64/network/admin/tnsnames.ora

Above files should be identical.

Also check if SAPSR3 or SYSTEM users password is correct for target system.

Thanks for your help...

Now I think it works, but I don't understand when I use solman_setup to configure the last part for activate DBA COCKPIT it shows:

DB connection Id :xxx

Connectivity test : (Green)

Database history : (Yellow) Not supported for this DB platform

Extractors activation :(Yellow) The DB performance warehouse is not available, thus the DB extractors were not activated

It is normal? what does it mean?

Thanks
