QAC2-inspection long text fields

Dear Guru,

My user would like to enter the reason why they want to do a mvt 323 in T/code QAC2 so that they can refer back when the auditors ask them.

I understand that we can make the Reason for Mvmt mandatory for mvt 323 via OMJJ and let the users select the pre-set reason. However, my user would like to enter the more details at the inspection long text in QAC2.

My question is : Is there any way to make the inspection long text fields mandatory in QAC2 so that the user will be prompt to make the entry in inspection long text.

To my knowledge you cannot make long text mandatory.

If you have technical team help, you can try and check if an customer exit is available and tyry activating an exit which can check if a long text is entered before saving. ( check for entry in table STXH for the text object)

or

Once transfer posting is done, you can update the material document with the text. hoep this may help.
