Cutover constraints

Hi Guys,

What are the constraints from the client side during cutover w.r.to PP Module? How do we address them?

Hi Sravan,

Client want to know the ,open Production order ,Plan oder as well as WIP order ( for operation wise Production order)

you havt to sugest them upload all open order manualy if possible and data is small ,or else use Function module or BDC to upload

cutover data

also ask them for inprocess as weel as existing stock and match it with system stock

Dear

As far as the Cutover activites are concerned the point which is critical and needs to be taken care is the WIP(Work in Progress ) part and the master data upload.

WIP = Goods issued to an order + Confirmations done to that particular order ( Order is still being executed and not fully confirmed)

a) Try clearning the shopfloor to Zero WIP before Golive (this should solve most of your problems)

b) At the time of Cutover only Raw materials and finished materail shall be in stock

Check the Master data upload for PP

a) Material Master views b)PRTs c) BOMs d)Work Centres e)Routings f)inspection characteristics
