AS11: how to avoide SAP proposes the master data of the Main Asset?

Hi All,

Creating a subnumber Asset by t.code AS11, SAP suggests as default the master data of the Main Asset.

How could I avoid that?

I need the field are blanc

Hi Gandalf

This is controlled by the settings in SPRO->FA->AA->Master data->Screen layout->Define screen layout for Asset master data.

Hence for whichever fields, you do not want the system to copy the data from Main asset, go the relevant Field status rules and remove the tick from MnNo.

Hi Gandalf,

This is controlled from the below menu path in configuration.

SPROIMGFINANCIAL ACCTNG(New)-Asset AccountingMaster data-screen layout-define screen layout for asset master data

In the field group rules for respective screen layout and logical field group,donot have the check box ticked for main number.
