Experts,
I have loaded data to a Master data object and the SID table for one of it's display attribute is not being filled. I ran an RSRV Elementary test for the display attribute and it gave me this error "Missing Initial Entry in table /BIC/SZ*. I tried 'Correct Error', but nothing happened.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Please suggest.
Hi,
Can you reactivate the info object itself. When reactivating, if there the P,Q, X, Y tables need repaired, you will get error and form here you can repair.
Also please run the program RSDMD_CHECKPRG_ALL for the same.

Thanks, Vikram. I have already run RSDMD_CHECKPRG_ALL and it gave no errors. The error only occurs in RSRV. I'm facing this issue in QA system, never had this issue in Dev. I even transported the objects from Dev to QA, but issue persists.
Please suggest.
Hi,
Please try activating this object using the program:
RSDG_IOBJ_ACTIVATE
and repair the tables using
RSDMD_SID_P_Q_REPAIR

Vikram, I'm having this issue with the display attribute of the MD object. Would 'RSDMD_SID_P_Q_REPAIR' help, since the display attribute if not checked for 'master data' and only 'Text' option is checked.
Hi,
Yes it should help.

Issue still persists even after doing the above steps. The SID's for MD object are created but not for the Display attribute. Is there any way to stamp the default entry for a display attribute SID table? (As per the RSRV error).
Please suggest.
Hi,
Please run this program for the attribute characteristic.
-Vikram
I did run the program for both MD object and it's display attribute. The display attribute is not check for master data and only has a SID table and text table. The SID table has the default entry (SID: 0; CHCKFL: X; DATAFL: X; INCFL: X). Though there is the default SID table entry, still doesn't create SID's for display attribute and gives the error in RSRV.
Appreciate your help on this. Even re-transporting the objects from Dev to QA didn't help. Please suggest if you have other thoughts...
Found an alternate solution.
Wat alternate solution did you find for this?
