SAP installation on windows 7

Hi,

I want to install SAP (ECC6 IDES) on windows7 on my laptop.

please describe me the process of installation.

Database MS SQL.

you must install on a server version of Windows, such as Windows 2003 server or Windows 2008 server.

you cannot install on Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7.

SAP we can install on windows xp, For that we need to add IIS Component,

i am trying to install on windows 7 prof edition, but Oracle giving unknow error, please can any one help me in this issue

Well - unfortunately nobody has invented a magic ball yet to see what error you face. Please post

- what you did

- what exact error message you get

and only then we may able to suggest something.

its same procedure win 7 as in win server,its good as standalone PC for learning purpose but again for production or development purpose server edition is recommended.

Hi,

The process of installation is to press the keyboard keys in the right sequence after having read the installation guide.

For your information windows 7 is NOT supported. It may perhaps work...
