Characteristic contains invalid characters

Hi everybody,

I have some problems with a query. When I try to start it, I get the following error message:

Value 'Non' (hex. '004E006F006E') of characteristic G_ORS_RFN contains invalid characters

I can not find any invalid values.

may be those are not visible as it is..

go to psa select the row and double click on that entry it might show the invalid char..

I have no PSA here. Data are stored in DSO via direct update

then you cant edit the record which is giving the problem...

1) check the record in the source and correct it there and reload...it takes more time as you need lot of permissions to edit in r/3.

2) Better approach is to load into PSA and edit the record and push it from there to DSO

use this FM in routine SCP_REPLACE_STRANGE_CHARS and also maintain RSKC properly.

In change mode of infoobject (G_ORS_RFN), under 'General' tab...

I think, U should select Lowercase letters (check box)
