Crosstab report - Calculated Member

Hi,

My crosstab summarizeds the counts of various products acorss each month. I was able to use the calculated memeber feature and add an additional column in the crosstab with gives the summarized value as of previous month.

GridValueAt(CurrentRowIndex, GetColumnPathIndexOf(), CurrentSummaryIndex) - GridValueAt(CurrentRowIndex, CurrentColumnIndex-1, CurrentSummaryIndex)

But when i make changes to the query by filtering out some months, the calculated member column is disapperaing. Is this the standard behavious? I want to make sure that the calculated member column will not cause an issue when we ahve new data next month. Can anyone please help me with this.
