Open Hub Destination - From BI7 to R/3 error

Hi All ,

I am in the process of transferring infocube data from BI 7.0 to R/3.

I created an open hub destination with third party . Once I execute the DTP , i get an

error message

:

CREATE DATA : The specified type /BIC/OH**** id no valid data type.

The RFC connection between both the systems is in place .

Please guide me where i am going wrong.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi,

Set the correct parameters in case of other Systesm i.e. external system, see the below articles on Open Hub Destination

Hi Anjna,

Unless you are on BW 7.4 or you are on BW 7.3 with a HANA database, you cannot write the data directly to a database table in the target system of the Open Hub.

if you are not in the above mentioned versions of BW, the only option is to use a third party tool like Data Services to trigger the Open hub.
