Where is Query Builder in BO XI 3.1?

Hi,

I have been asked to run query but I can't seem to find query builder in this version. I know it used to be in launchpad. I have the IIS version and I can't see it even in the startup menu.

Thanks in advanced.

Try:

http://yourserver/AdminTools

Thanks for your reponse.

I did try that URL and I get 'page not found'. Is it possible that it hasn't been installed?

It is only available on java (tomcat) not .net

It may be added to WACS in SP3 but doesn't exist yet

You'll need to install tomcat and then use http://server:8080/AdminTools/

you can visit the SDK forums and look for a sample of SDK code for particular objects. If you don't code then installing tomcat would be a better option. It would make your CMC quicker at the same time, give you a backup infoview, and allow you a full featured infoview if you ever wanted to test the 50% or so products that are not compatible with IIS (.net).

As a support engineer I see many customers start with .net only to scrap it later due to the functionality, performance, and ease of use on tomcat later. Just something to think about...
