Process Chain Message for Run completion

Former Member

Dear experts,

In our system the Process chains and as they complete processes, there are some messages, such as completion of run for master data or hierarchies...

Then when I run the PC, if I don't click to confirm the messages, the PC sometimes times out...

I would like to NOT display thoses messages.

How can I change the settings for that???

I think the completion status message will be triggering from the last block of the process chain.

In RSPC --> Open the process chain --> right click on the block and goto to message maintenance. Here you can change the message.

Dear Pravender,

What do you mean by block?

The start event or the attrib. change box?

if i right-click on them both I see:

"Display Variant...

Exchange variant...

Display all jobs

Create message...

Debug Loop...

Remove process"

I don't see "maintain message."

I think you mean that I should I click "create message..." and change successful to error.

If that correct?

If you already have a failure message then right click on that message in the process chain block and maintain.

Otherwise create message --> Choose success/failure and define the message content and recepients.

Dear Pravender,

I am sorry I still don't get the "block".

I have messages for each change run and I want to suppress them.

But the only option there when I right-click is "create message..."

There is no maintain message.

What is the PC block are you refering to ?

Ok you click on create message only and choose success/failure and save the message. Activate the process chain.

thank you Pravender,

I hope I won't create additional messages with those "unsucessful error" messages, on top of the successful ones...

But I really see no other maintain options.
