Availability check (KP= No check)

Hi

We have an issue with the availability check.We have maintained the KP (No check) option in the material master record of the availability check field in Sales/Gen. plant tab.But when we create the SO it is going for the availability check and confirmed qty is different from ordered qty. but we manitanied KP it should not check the availability..

Note : Availability check box and requirement got activated in the schedule lines categories.

If we check this box in the schedule line categories and we maintain the KP in the material master also ,will it go for the availability check.

Hi,

There could be several things -

1. Is KP assigned in the material master in the General/plant data view maintained for the same plant as the one that is derived in the order?because if CMIR derives a different plant and for that the material master has different checking group, then availability check might be triggered.

2. check your checking group KP setting maybe there the "no availability check" is not checked.

3. If you check the "no availability check" in the KP, then it should not do an availability check even though it is checked in schedule lines.

Hi

Even though you have activated availability & requirement in Schedule line , system will consider KP as no check from material master. Pls check that agianst KP NO Check should be activated. GO to Basic function-- Availability Check with ATP--- Define checking group.

hope this will work. Pls revert if you still face the problem.
