InfoObject / Navigation Attribut ZXXXXXX does not (yet) exist

In an InfoObject catalogue we have an inactive object which we'd like to delete. When we double click on the object within Inactive Objects we get the error "InfoObject / Navigation Attribut ZXXXXXX does not (yet) exist"

How is it possible to retrieve this InfoObject or remove it from the data warehouse?

Tedious but cleanest way would be to re-create the object ZXXXXXX with some dummy properties and then go to main object which had this ZXXXXXX as nav reference. Activate the object using rsiobjactivate program.

Then go to edit mode again and remove reference of this attribute from main object . And then delete ZXXXXXX finally.

If you have data present in the main info object you will need to drop data before system allows to delete this reference of nav attribute.

This method allows consistency in backend SAP tables.

Recreated the object, saved and activated. This then enabled deletion. It no longer appears as an inactive object in the InfoObject catalogue.

Thanks!

Hi,

you want to delete main info object which has navigational attribute(does not exist). Change info object--go to attribute tab, select your nav. attribute and click on delete button at bottom.

activate your info object and then delete it

U can delete this InfoObject from table RSDIOBJ.

U can re-install this object from BI Content to retrieve.

I tried to delete the object from the table but it says "No table entries found for specified key".

The ZXXXXX object was a custom built object (not BI content) and it was not used as a nav attr. I included the full text of error for completeness.
