Qaaws Web service URL is not correct

Hi,

When i am trying to login in Qaaws its showing warning "Web service URL is not correct" for BO server with a yellow icon and in Authorization dropdown its showing nothing.For the same server it was working.I have no idea how to findout where is the problem.

Can any one help me out in this issue?

Did you upgraded your server lately (eg. installed a fix pack or service pack)?

What's exactly the URL your are using (you can ommit the hostname)

thanks for reply.

I have not installed any fixpack or any other service pack.

I am using URL "http://fdbdbs:8080/dswsbobje/services/Session" .

It was wrking fine sometime before, now its not working.I have not done any changes.

I am not sure why its showing this.

can you please try the following URL (THe same as the one you already have but all small)

"http://fdbdbs:8080/dswsbobje/services/session"

Hi,

I have the same issue with QAAWS, when i try to add host it says web services URL is not correct, but it was working in the past.

Even i am unable to connect Live office also.

Hi,

If your system name is system1----in the host--> name you have to provide the name as system1...

in the same way please check whether the name you provided is your system name or not?

We are also facing the same issue.

We are facing the issue since upgrading to FP 5.2. Base version was BO Xi 3.1 SP5.

Hi everybody, don't know if this post is reallyb up to date but I had faced the SAME problem with a fresh installation of BO BI 4.1 SP2.

Trying to set the connection in the QAAWS Designer always gave the error: Web Services URL is not correct. After a while we've figured out how to solve it:

When you insert the new host the link to the URL is auto generated like this:

http://BO BI SERVER NAME:8080/dswsbobje/services/Session. THIS LINK IS WRONG!!

Try tiping this: http://BO BI SERVER NAME:8080/dswsbobje/services/Session?wsdl adding the "?wsdl" string to the URL and everything will work!!!
