Can some one enlighten me on this.
I read from a Blog from a mentor that BDC is not supported in CRM data model.
But some colleagues from SDN fraternity are blissfully using BDC in LSMW for inbound data transfer.
I am in a dialemma as what to believe, Does SAP recommends BDC technique or not ?

Hi,
The use of BDC in CRM is not encouraged by SAP. GUI transaction problems in CRM are not supported. There are better alternatives to using BDC as shown in this thread.
