Libe Office Timeout

Hi all,

I have created an excel workbook for Xcelsius with 28 live office documents inside. Each live office takes about 1-2 seconds to retrieve the data what it is not bad.

My problem is: When I refresh all of live office documents together (with "Refresh All Objects" option), It iakes 15 minutes and then i get a timeout error.

Any idea would be appreciated.

Hi Gabriel,

In order to increase the timeout on Live Office, follow the instructions below:

1. Open the registry ( Start -> run -> Type 'regedit') 2. Locate the following path : [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Business Objects\Suite 11.7\Live Office\ENTERPRISE]

3. Create (if not already present) a new DWORD key named "DefaultTimeOut"

4. Set the default timeout value to 1200sec (or more if required)

Is this only on the BI 4 Servers? Is there a user PC setting as well?
