SRM 7.01 + Portal Web Interface

Hi,

We are trying to setup SRM with Portal interface for using Live Auction. All the documentation and forums use ITS as interface so we are not able to find out:

1- The URL of the SRM Server Web Interface ( Where we can execute SRM transactions)

2- The URL of the bidder login page. (Where bidders will logon over internet)

Any help will be appreciated,

The URL is http://<host>.<domain>:<port>/irj/portal for both purchasers and bidders.

Hi Masa,

Thanks for the answer.

I think it is all about profiles.

In the basic settings document it says:

"Using the Enterprise Portal application, Business partner : Employee, create user master

records for the departmental managers"

How to start the Enterprise Portal application, Business partner : Employee ?

Please check configuration guide in SAP Solution Manager or downloaded configuration guide in SAP Service Marketplace.

You have to configure Portal connection, Org structure in PPOMA_BBP and users.

Check points:

- Define System Landscape: system Type SRM_AUC

- http connection definition in SM59

Yes on custimizing:

Define System Landscpe:

RFC DESTONATION: SRM_LIVE_AUCTION

Sys. Type: SRM_AUC

AND IN SM59

RFC Destination SRM_LIVE_AUCTION type G,

Target Host: localhost ip

Service No: 50100

Path Prefix ( tried both empty and "/irj/portal" )

I need your kind help

We are goging for a new implimentation SRM 7.01 with MDM  ...

Let me know from the scrach what are all the sequence of steps to follow

1. Installtion of SRm 7.01

2  how to get the log in URL

3. We do not have any exisitign portal set up we have only ECC

5. Setting up MDM with material master images .

6. Without portal connection how to log in to SRM

help full SRM Documentation for configuraton and installation     how to get  solution manager set up for this complete installation   SRM , MDM  ECC

your both questions have same answer . SRM designed with on ROLE base. if you are an Employee and you can create a shopping cart.

TWPURLSVR TABLE HAS ALL url INFORMATION

OR

GO TO se80 >its SERVICES->BBPSTART->LOGIN->F8 NOW IN THE BOTTOM toy must get browser started. if your user has been integrated to org structure . you can do SRM transaction if you have roles and logon credentioal.

Hi,

TWPURLSVR TABLE is empty.

This opens a login page, my user is integrated into org structure so I can login, but most of the pictures icons etc. has X on them.

And the most important guestion is: This page opens on ITS, isn't it meant to be opened on EP ?
