Change SAP standard logo rippling water

Hi Techies,

I Know the way how we can change the SAP standard logo (rippling water at right side above corner).

Anyone know how we can create sapalogo.bmp with our company logo?

Is there any morphing tool to replace the standard logo?

Hi Nick,

First of all tell you that modifying the SAP waterdrop Logo on the top right corner should be possible but this is not a supported feature by SAP. This is why there is no documentation on how to do this.

However, if you decide to go ahead and change it, here is what you have to do:

-Look for sapalogo.bmp on your harddisk. This is usually stored in

x:\program files\SAP\Frontend\sapgui\themes\<Theme Name>.

The animation is actually a series of virtual frames in a long bitmap. You can modify the waterdrop animation by subsituting in the appropriate graphics. The parameters used to control this are stored in theme.xml in the same folder.
