Issue with triggering of forms from portal

Hi,

We are facing the issue with the HR Forms.

When user submits its all details and clicks on button all necessary checks regarding data consistency are done. Then on clicking on Send button two processes occur 1) The process number is generated 2) the workflow gets triggered. The workflow determines the next processing agent of the form and sends the form to processing agent

In our case when we have not given user SAP_ALL profile the workflow does not get triggered and no CASE_GUID number is generated in back end .When ever any HCM process and form is triggered its information is stored, its all Case Management (Tcode SCASE) .With every process reference number a CASE_GUID is generated but its not happening in our case.

When we provide SAP_ALL all works fine.

Please guide how can we resolve this issue.

Hi,

Does the user has ESS or MSS role. Please check it. If the user has MSS or ESS role there their should not be any problem. If your user has the role then please get back.

Users are provided with ESS and MSS roles. But still facing the same issue.

Hi Rajesh,

As per my understanding ESS / MSS is enough. You can do one thing. Execute the same application from portal and at the same time on the trace (ST01) in backend for that user. Once activity in portal is finished then check what ST01 returns. This will surely help you in solving the issue. You can also try SU53 after submitting the notification.

Hi,

Trace user authorization via ST01.

Strart ST01, select authorization check, enter filter for ESS user only, press Trace on.

Go to ESS with trace user, run business transaction where you have security issue.

Go back to ST01, press Trace off, press Analysis, run report for ESS user and identify lines that are light green. They will show you missing authorization.

Add this authorization objects to ESS/MSS security role via transaction PFCG.

Also check with Security the Authorization at Authorixzation object if there are any custom objects..if ESS/MSS roles are fine.
