Color in a button

my web applications run in the enterprise portal and for all buttons the background color is the one that identifies the company. This works fine with

<htmlb:content labelDesignBar = "LIGHT" design="CLASSIC">

now that I receive the instruction of an "upgrade" for the applications, I changed the code to

<htmlb:content labelDesignBar = "LIGHT" design="DESIGN2003">

but the color for the buttons is gone. Only the text in the button is displayed with the company´s color and a smal section on the far-left of the button, the rest is a light grey. Tag htmlb:button has no parameter for working with CSS or anything which might influence the color.

Is there any way to set the color or is this a task for portal administrator ??
