VF01- Doc terminated.

Hi All

At the time of VF01 I am getting error msg

Error msg is --

Express document "Update was terminated" received from author

8I 336: Error in allocating Excise invoice

So though it is generating billing doc number but that number is not existing in system.

Any Idea please?

It seems you have ticked the box in IMG for automatic excise invoice but you have not maintained the number range for a given object in SNUM. For example, if you were generating a domestic sale order, you need to check in SNUM whether for the object J_1IEXCLOC, number range is maintained for the current year.
