Error Accessing Parser DLL

Hi Experts

We have the above error when upgrading SAP B12007A SP01 to PL10 on SBS 2008 (64bit). On other posts it advises to install :- Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)

Being SBS 2008 (64 bit) is the (x86) package the correct install or should it be (x64) version?

Any help appreciated.

Hi Lorna,

We had the same issue on the 64bit server os, if I remember you need to install the x86 version from the following website:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS09-035.mspx

It was a few months back now, if it still doesn't work afterwards try the 64 bit. I think you have to install the 32bit as its a 32bit app. We had this issue on all of our customers that have gone to SP01 PL09 and above.

hi i have faced the same eror error multiple times when i used to install client and the best and sure shoor resolution to it was i also installed teh server on the client machine and issue got resolved.

Hello,

Try installing 64 bit component and then apply PL10. I beleive it would fail , if not you are lucky!

One of our clients upgrade failed with PL10 couple of weeks ago. I opened a ticket with SAP. You could download PL11 and try upgrading.
