Cost center assignment

If we assign cost center in IT 27 / Position level and org unit level , how system recognize which cost center

If we assign cost center in IT 27 / Position level and org unit level , how system recognize which cost center

Rex,

Cost center is assigned in IT 0027 at person level as IT 0027 is stored for an employee. This has first priority in payroll first this is checked

IT 1018 is used to store cost distribution either position or Org Unit wise. This has second priority and taken into consideration if IT 0027 is not maintained.
