account modifiers

What are the below account modifiers used for and under what circumstances?

VAX, VKP & VKA

Hi,

VAX: for goods issues for sales orders without account assignment object

VAY: for goods issues for sales orders with account assignment object

VKA: for consumption for sales order without SD

Check in SPRO-MM-Purchasing-account assignment-maintain account assignment categories

For the account assignment category P check the account modification .if it is VBR then VBR would be triggered durign 101 movement .In such cases there is no need to maintain VKP.

VAX, is used for goods issues for sales orders without account assignment object

VKP is used for project account assignment

VKA is used for sales order account assignment

Thanks for the replies. In what scenario I have to the GBB settings for VKP acct modifier? We are using WBS for all our procure ments and work orders. I have configured the VBR for all the material valuation classes and and for the Material Group valuation classes also. Is it required for to do the settings for VKP?
