Reason for movement (MSEG-GRUND) in MIGO Cancellation

Is is possible to ajust settings or use BADI so that when executing a Cancellation of a document via MIGO, the "Reason for movement" field (MSEG-GRUND) is copied form the reference document to be cancelled ?

Hi,

If you use transaction MBST, to cancel the goods movement, the field MSEG-GRUND will be copied to the cancellation document.

Try in customizing SPRO:

Customizing:

-> Materials management

-> Inventory management and physical inventory

-> Physical inventory

-> Default values for physical inventory:

For each plant in which you use the reason code, you can

enter a default value.

Thanks Adam but we do not want to have the same reason for movement code for the organisation; we want the reason code to be copied from the reference document we are cancelling.

We tried to use method LINE_MODIFY in an implementation of BADI MB_MIGO_BADI but the field GOITEM-GRUND is not modifiable (message MIGO-050).

Any clue ?
