0FI_GL_10 vs. 0FI_GL_14

Hi, Can someone explain to me the difference between 0FI_GL_10 and 0FI_GL_14?

Is it preferred to use one over another one? Should both be used?

How come for some gl accounts, 0fi_gl_14 and 0fi_gl_10 do not match values?

Hi,

Write some more facts about 10 and 14 diffrences you noticed.

How do you restrict your data. May be time restriction isn't ok.

Personally, I prefer to use data from 0fi_gl_14. I built a data cube on 0figl_O14. Lots of aggregate makes reports to run very fast.

Hi,

I was looking only at the data source level and compared a gl account with the same profit center, etc. Then there is a line item in 0fi_gl_14 which was not included in the total of 0fi_gl_10.

Hi,

I never noticed any differences (except errors) in info providers built on datasources you mentioned above.

If you have any it should be explained.

I assume data flows are working ok.

*10 - For Total records from leading ledger

*14 - For Line Item records from leading ledger

So as an addon is it true that 0FI_GL_14 is only available with EHP3? Because I don't see it as available and I think I have seen other threads mention that. Can you confirm?

0FI_GL_10 for G/L Totals and based on table FAGLFLEXT

0FI_GL_14 for G/L Line Items based on tables FAGLFLEA, BSEG & BKPF

U should use both data flows.
