I have installed the integration component for B1 8.8 PL12 but get the following error(s) when loggin in and the dashboards don't display:
From client machine:
Cannot connect to B1i Server. For more information, see below:
Unable to connect to the remote server
I have changed the following in the Xcellerator.cfg file:
xcl.http.localOnly=false
I restarted the integration after the change. Still get the same message.
Running B1 on Server:
Cannot connect to B1i server. For more information, see below:
The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.
My address in general settings:
I have tried both server name and IP address.
Any ideas? I have been through all the posts on the integration component that I can find as well as the documentation and it appears I have followed the approprate steps. All the services related to the integration appear to be running fine. Is there a possibility that it is the environment: MS Small Business Server and the client is Windows 7 professional machine? Or, is there a security setting besides the cfg file that prohibits remote access?
I believe your url is incorrect. Have to add an I in front of NB_HT_CALL...

Hi,
I've had the exact problem described above. Everything seems to work and connect except SAP B1.
In my case it turned out that the URL I copied from one of the docs had a spcae in it after the v in this part of the URL. vplatform.runtime
I removed the space and it all works fine now.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
To check your server access you can just type the ip adress and port to a browser on the client
If the tomcat main page appears -> Authorization is ok, no sbs limitation .
Tip:
1. Did you changed the B1i users password -> and logged in with B1i suppose to release the password change?
2. Try access to the server directly on the machine, not from client
3. Open On the server the
http://192.168.0.2:8080/B1iXcellerator/, navigate to Landscape, and test your connection with B1i user to the server (if you use named instance it was not working for me).
regards
János

Janos,
See also my response to Lisa.
I validated B1i password by logging in. Also tested per reply to Lisa. I was able to go to the Integration Framework from the server and test without issues. Tomcat page did not display when I entered http://192.168.0.2:8080 from the client, but it did from the server.
I still get the (500) error when I try to access dashboard in B1 on server machine. See prior reply for additional Full Internal Error Message.
Hi Alan,
For the first error on the client machines - can you restart both event service and Integration Service?
For the second error (500) - can you test the connection to B1DI and JDBC via the SLD and check if it is successful.
Cheers,
Lisa

I have done all the suggestions just posted to my question. I can connect to the B1DI and JDBC via the SLD. I still get the (500) error and the web page for the dashboard does provide this Full Internal Error Message:
